Marketing Agency Liverpool – Daily Maid recommends Elephant Digital

Marketing Agency Liverpool

Anyone who knows the Daily Maid team will know that we are a family-run business. As such we pride ourselves on working together as a team to make sure we provide a fantastic service to our customer.

If you are looking for a marketing agency to work with then look no further because we have a recommendation for you.

Over the years we have received many compliments about our website so we thought it was time to introduce the web wizards behind the scenes. Our son Phil Birss owns and runs Elephant Digital, a digital marketing agency based in Liverpool.

Founded in April 2014, Elephant Digital is a brand, web design and digital marketing based at Liverpool Science Park. Their mission is to make an impact on the world through the delivery of world-class marketing, technology and design.

The current site was designed and built by Phil in 2008 and we are happy to say that it has served us well ever since. People comment that the website stands out against our competitors and that the family element is a big selling point against the larger, and perhaps less personal, cleaning franchise websites.

We love our website too, but times are changing and the Daily Maid must move evolve so we can continue to provide our customers with a modern website that is fit-for-purpose. We are keeping all the things that make us a great little business, but in 2017 we are looking to evolve our brand identity a little bit.

The website will also be evolving later this year to make sure it is mobile friendly and keeps up to date with the latest technology.

To the left is a sneak peek of our new brand and our new logo coming soon in 2017. We are trying to keep the vibrant pink as our main colour but give the brand a bit of a retro look by playing of the 1950s soap opera style.

As always we would love to hear your thoughts and feedback as we look to launch the new brand.

Elephant Digital also work on all our marketing agency and have successfully kept us at the top of Google since 2008. I would that many of you reading this article have found us today thanks to the work of team at Elephant Digital.

Although we appreciate that Phil is part of the family, on behalf of Jan and I we would like to thank the team at Elephant for all their hardwork.

Tough and Muddy

Tough Mudder 2015 - The Daily MaidThank you to everyone who sponsored us for completing the North West Tough Mudder on 12th September 2015.

As the heading suggests, it was extremely tough and tremendously muddy!

Following 5 gruelling hours, 11.6miles and 26 obstacles, we had scaled swamps, sewer tunnels and even 10,000 volt electric shocks to get to the end of the course. By far the worst obstacle was the ‘Arctic Enema’ in which had you climb scaffolding to reach a slide that fully submerged you in a skip full of ice water – what a shock!

Thank you again to everyone – it really helped us whilst completing the course to know we had managed to raise £492.99 for the fantastic charity, CALM, so thank you.

For anyone who hasn’t yet donated, our page is still open for the time being: www.justgiving.com/sarahpotts2015

You can read more about CALM by clicking here.

Thank you again for your continued support.

Jan is one Tough Mudder!

Jan Birss and Daily Maid team run for Sports Relief

15th, April 2012 – Written by Tony Birss

In a continuing effort to support local and national charities Jan Birss, owner and Managing Director of The Daily Maid successfully completed the 10 kilometre race for Sport Relief.

The event was held at Birkenhead Park on Sunday 25th March. Jan was joined by her daughter Sarah Birss and Laura Hartley, one of the longest serving members of the Daily Maid team.

Jan was keen to do some runs for Claire House, St Johns Hospice and Cancer Research UK, not to mention trying to improve her fitness.

Being new to running she joined a local racing club in November 2011, who have helped her get into shape, and Jan has been pounding the pavements ever since

The day finally came and we woke up to an unusually warm and sunny day for this time of year. Having spent the previous three days fuelling up with pasta galore and buckets of water Jan was ready to go.

With only a few short months of training all three girls managed to complete the course in respectable times and raised £200 for Sports Relief.

Wirral, United Kingdom (15 September 2010) – Hoylake’s Jack Rabbit Slims is to host charity event ‘Claire House of Rock’ on Thursday, September 23, to help raise money for children’s hospice Claire House. The event is headlined by local rockers and winners of Radio City 96.7’s ‘Make Your Mark’ competition, The Stines. There will also be other featured live entertainment and prizes to be won through a series of raffles, including a signed Liverpool FC shirt which has been generously donated by the club.

“We’re thankful for Liverpool FC’s donation and hope it’ll go some way to reaching our goal of £4,000. We’d like to thank everybody who has already shown an interest in and contributed toward Claire House of Rock,” says co-organiser Phil Birss.

“The shirt is just one of the surprises we’re hoping to spring on people when they come along to Jack Rabbit Slims. The Stines are involved in a heavy touring programme at the moment and we’re delighted that they’ve taken the time out to help us raise money for Claire House, and we’re looking forward to a roof-raising performance. Interest has so far been feverish and we’ve sold a lot of tickets, so are expecting a large crowd. There are still plenty of tickets available though, and people can book there place at the charity event of the year by calling my sister and fellow fundraiser, Sarah.”

Tickets cost £5. Claire House of Rock starts at 7:30pm and will last throughout the evening. For more information or to purchase tickets please contact Sarah Birss on 0792 654 1952 or 0783 481 9139. Donations can also be made by visiting www.justgiving.com/sarah-birss/.

Wirral Cleaner the Daily Maid asks “How clean is Your House?

14th September, 2010

Whether you are old or young, male or female, own your home or currently renting, we all love it when Kim and Aggie get stuck in and turn a stinking mess of a home into a shiny new penny. Channel 4 is the home of the popular reality cleaning show – How Clean is Your House? and here at Wirral Cleaner we understand that everyone has times when they worry about someone coming into their home when it is not looking its best.

At The Daily Maid we have “seen it all”, and nothing surprises us anymore when we go to meet a new customer. Sometimes people tell us how nervous they are when we organise our first visit to your home with Jan and her team. We take this concern seriously and as a family business we look to make the process of inviting someone into your home for the first time as relaxing and as informal as possible.

Jan and her team all enjoy meeting new people and understanding our customer’s lifestyle and cleaning needs. Each customer has a story to tell and needs a service suited to their individual needs. We are specialist domestic cleaners and have many years experience of showing our customers homes in the best light.

Kim and Aggie have tons of cleaning tips at their finger tips, and at The Daily Maid we are no different. We have cleaned, scrubbed and polished many different types of spills and stains, and many of our customers love to find out the tricks of the cleaning trade from us. At The Daily Maid our advice is free and each new customer provides us with a new cleaning challenge, something I’m sure Kim and Aggie are more than used to.
